•   2014 International Water Association (IWA) Global Honor Award for Innovation in Planning presented to Sustainable Futures Australia, Clarence Valley Council, NSW Dept. of Water and Dept of Finance for the development  and implementation of Dealing With Our Own Situation (DWOOS) in the Iluka Water Recycling & Sewage Management Scheme (presented in Lisbon)

•  2004 NSW Local Government & Shires Association (LGSA) Award for Excellence in Environmental Education with Rous Water & the Widjabul People: The Rocky Creek Dam Water Walks 
•   2004 Planning Institute of Australia (PIA) Queensland State Award for Excellence in International Planning with Focus Planning: Business Plan for the Disobai Naori land Group, Papua New Guinea
•   2003 NSW Regional and State Eco-tourism Awards to the Angourie Rainforest Resort (Mitchell Partnership) - the Angourie Resort Management Plan prepared by Sustainable Futures Australia acknowledged in the award.
•   NSW River Care 2000 Award (1998 High Commendation) to North Coast Water for the Regional Strategic Water Efficiency Plan prepared by Sustainable Futures
•   1999 Royal Australian Planning Institute (RAPI) NSW Excellence in Plan-Making, Local Government Planning (Commendation): Hastings Sustainability Training & Education Program
•   1999 RAPI NSW Excellence in Plan-Making, Regional & Rural Planning (Commendation): Clarence Valley Settlement Strategy
•   1998 RAPI NSW Excellence in Community Planning: The Lower Clarence County Council Regional Water Efficiency Plan
•   1998 RAPI National Award for Excellence in Rural Planning with NSW Department of Planning (Commendation): The Shellharbour Rural Strategy
•   1997 RAPI NSW State Award for Excellence in Rural Planning with Shellharbour City Council: The Shellharbour Rural Strategy
•   1997 RAPI National Winner - Award for Excellence in Rural Planning with NSW Department of Planning: Rural Settlement Guidelines for North Coast NSW
•   1997 Lower Clarence Valley Business Distinction Award for Innovation and Leadership in Business & Client Services

•   1992 NSW & National Housing Industry Association (HIA) Award for Sustainable Housing (awarded to Isidoro Developments) included an award winning Permaculture garden by Peter Cuming & Geoff Lawton
